Lake is a promise of quality, sustainability and well-being and offers office spaces of 2,000 to 14,000 m² as well as 4,000 m² of meeting areas, conference rooms, catering services and a roof terrace spanning 950 m² with unparalleled views of the lake. In terms of both design and function, the centrepiece is the four-storey atrium, which unites spectacular views and impressions to create an exclusive atmosphere.

Different zones for collaboration creative a positive atmosphere and a productive environment: from a conference space with its own arena to a restaurant, café with lake views and a take-away for quick snacks to go or to enjoy on site. Inviting outdoor spaces such as the pergola decorated with rich foliage, the inner courtyard and the lakeside terrace offer havens of inspiration and peace. The usage plans for common areas in the cutting-edge Business Campus encourage the stimulating transfer of knowledge between individual tenants in the building.

In order to enable the customisation of the spacious business areas and the implementation of variable working concepts, they will be let out in a high-quality, extended basic fit-out. This will include ribbed ceilings in exposed concrete, acoustically optimised raised floors, heating, ventilation and cooling in the open space. Similarly, suspended round lights ensure uniform illumination of the entire rental space. The elegant, shimmering silver-grey cladding of the wooden cores is also part of the basic fit-out.

The project pursues two main architectural aims: the three-dimensional integration of the building into the lakefront at Mythenquai and the creation of the best conditions for future-oriented, sustainable workplaces. A business campus with high recognition value, unique architecture and versatile uses.

Designed by renowned architects Meili, Peter Architekten AG and GFA Gruppe für Architektur GmbH, this prestigious new building is a project with appeal. Thanks to its first-class design and choice of materials, optimal space layouts and excellent daylight conditions, Lake guarantees its future users the highest standards of quality in terms of work and well-being. Although undoubtedly unique, its shape and colour still unite in effortless harmony with the existing buildings on Zurich’s lakefront. The exterior and interior designs are based on the project’s keystones as well the standards for multiple certification in accordance with Minergie-P/Minergie-ECO and the internationally recognised LEED Platinum programme. The building thus makes an important contribution to achieving the City of Zurich’s sustainability goals.
